Trip down to labrador park

Went down early today to just walk around and look at things. It will be good to just be by yourself, soak in the place and just scan around for interesting things.

The walk in was good, at 7 plus the sun was just rising over tops of a line of trees and you start to hear the birds calling. Could only recognise the kingfisher. Of course I missed having my usual packet of teh tarik from the coffee shop just at the entrance of the road, but well got to deal with it.

The beach itself is empty too, save for 2-3 fishermen at the jetty. The tide was still on its way out, water is really brown and murky and you can see lots of borrows at the beach. Ghost crabs? Got to verify one day.

Quickly changed to my booties, took out my camera and started looking around. Saw a few interesting things and found that I liked my new waterproof camera very much.

Will let the pictures speak for itself for I have mangrove talk to prepare tomorrow.

Sighting of the day. Saw this pair of bright orange pincers and long antennae peeking out of a hole. What shrimp is this?

Been a very very long 10 weeks. After next week of first aid course and meetings, will be off tioman.

Things left to do:… Hmm shall not think about them now.

Should really start looking through my slides again for tomorrow’s talk.
